Marc Weiner- Founder and developer of the EL.
The New York Times calls Marc Weiner "a gifted comic" and "absolutely charming." His life story was told in a NY Times Magazine article, Of God And Weinerville.
Marc Weiner is a comedian, puppeteer and television producer. His TV credits include appearances on HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central, and Nickelodeon’s “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide”, as well as his own show, Nickelodeon’s “Weinerville.”
Marc and his puppets also appeared as regular featured guest on Saturday Night Live (1980-81)
Currently Marc is working on Nickelodeon's hit TV series, Dora the Explorer. He provides the voices of the Map,
Swiper the Fox,
and The Fiesta Trio

Marc has been a student of Nonviolent Communication (NVC)/Compassionate Communication for over seven years. He completed the 2006 BayNVC Leadership program, and is founder of the Empathy Labyrinth Center. Marc teaches empathy and Compassionate Communication skills to people of all ages, all around the world.
